Teesdale Tri
The long awaited return of the Teesdale Triathlon a much anticpated event has come to fruition at last!
The venue is Teesdale Leisure Centre, Barnard Castle, DL12 8DS
A 400m pool swim,
Followed by a 28km single lap triangular road cycle, taking a fast section through to Staindrop village onto a “good climb” to the outskirts of Egglestone village, then a fast finishing descent into Teesdale Leisure Centre all on public roads.
A multi terrain, 3 lap, 5 km run follows, in the area surrounding the Leisure Centre. This format will be fantastic for family and friends to cheer you on.
The event is run under British Triathlon rules and operates a zero tolerance approach to drafting.
