Any-one joining upto next seasons BTA membership which starts 1st of April 2009 which nicely co-incides with the start of the Triathlon/duathlon season

If you enter races on-line at the moment you will benefit from reduced entry feesMoney mouth if you are a BTA member AT THE TIME OF THE RACE,  

if they ask for a membership number enter a random number,  I usually find my date of birth suffice!

Then that way you will be only charged the lower BTA member price.

Two points of note

  • You will need to join upto BTA (obviously) April 2009 or before your race
  • If you do not present your membership card on the day of the race you will be charged the difference by the organisors for a non member and signed up member

this is usually about £3

Free kitbags and running vests will be on offer to members at the pool on Sunday when Martin Scaife from the Darlington Up & Running store will be making a special presentation to the club.

Martin will also be offering free video gait analysis and advice on which type and brand of shoes to buy. He will be bringing samples to show members.

Please support this event. Wearing the correct shoes is vital to protect against injury.

Darlington Tri members enjoy a 10% discount at Up & Running.
